Hello, friends, this is Evangelist Scott Pauli. I'm so happy that you are joining our broadcast today.

Several years ago, when we first began the Enjoying the Journey broadcast, we started with my favorite book of the Bible.

I've adopted it really is my life's study on the book of

Philippians. And the theme, of course, of that great book is the joy of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Truly, it is the Bible treaties on what it means to enjoy the journey. Now we're thrilled to share

this anniversary series with you again in the hopes that God will use it in your life to help you learn to enjoy the Lord Jesus Christ at whatever stage you happen to be on on life's journey.

When we left off our study last time, the Apostle Paul was sharing his testimony that he's lost

everything to gain everything. He lost all of him to find all of Christ. As a matter of fact, we pick up our reading in Philippians chapter 3 in verse 9, where he says,

and be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ,

the righteousness which is of God by faith that I may

know him and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings being made conformable

unto his death. Now stop just a minute. The Apostle Paul is somewhere between maybe 65 to 67 years of

age when he writes this.

That means he's been saved for more than 35 years.

And what is his great passion and purpose and pursuit?

It is this, that I may know him.

Paul said, I want to know Christ in a greater way.

You see, salvation is not the end, it's just the beginning.

If all there is to it is trusting Christ as your Savior,

and the best thing that can happen to you is the moment you pray to receive Christ as Savior
