What are they? How do they operate?

There's also going to be opportunities to break out and practice spiritual gifts in a kind of biblical,

safe, and orderly way. We've got lectures from myself, Michael Miller, Michael Roundtry, John Mark Baker, from the Minor Prophets, and Dr. Sam Storms. So if you're looking to move beyond just

We've got Michael Roundtree. How are you, sir? I'm doing great. It's a good read, right?

It's a good read. Yeah. We don't often get like this is a great book. You guys need to read. It's called bearing God's name. You're going to hear all about it. So you don't need me to explain it right now. But anyway, but this, this is incredible. Yeah. So coronavirus, you guys surviving?

We're surviving. You know, it's kind of interesting i almost feel like because we're doing these shows like all the time

we're on corona schedule now and so i i feel like no there's nothing new just staying in quarantine

pretty much so it's a little disorienting quarantine and podcast that's very much like the other

kind of corona because like the beer yeah, you know, when you have Corona for an extended period of time, life becomes disorienting. So it's very similar, very similar in many ways. And that's a great introduction. Carmen, tell us a little about yourself in your ministry before we dive into the topic today. All right. Well, thanks for having me on the show. I am Associate Professor of Old Testament at Prairie College in

Three Hills, Alberta. We are also on lockdown because of Corona. So I'm teaching online.

But it probably feels a little bit more normal to be in quarantine because we're still getting

snow.

We're a long ways off from spring. No flowers here, no leaves on the trees.

I'm not in quarantine anyway. Yeah, right, right. I've been teaching at Prairie for three years as my third year. I get to teach all of our Old Testament courses. And before that, I taught for a while at George Fox University and Multnomah University as an adjunct.

I did my Ph.D. at Wheaton College in Illinois, my master's in biblical studies at Gordon Conwell
