Okay, let's go ahead and get to this episode.

This is going to be a little bit at the very beginning of further thoughts about the state

of the program and a few things that came up over the course of the week before moving into

the Wake Forest preview.

So we'll do the first part first.

So in going back through the game against Jacksonville State,

it's really hard not to focus on those last couple plays, particularly the last one.

And many of you at this point have seen via social media and otherwise, and I posted

up a video through Patreon as well that looked at all of this. Many of you have noticed that

what Mike Norville said in the postgame about what they were in in terms of the coverage being covered two man, which is an okay call.

It's not the call I would prefer in that situation, but it's an okay call in that situation.

But about them being in cover two man and having blown that coverage, uh, leading to the,

to the touchdown, that that actually wasn't true. And that to me is actually pretty concerning,

but we'll address that in a moment. Turns out that they were in when you, when you look at the

tape, they were in robber. Now, just so you know, robber, for those of you were not as tape they were in robber now just so you know robber for those of

you are not as aware of this robber is a single safety in the middle of the field defense where

you've got one safety who's responsible for deep zones you've got your two corners who are going to

play outside leverage they're going to play basically a match match cover three type things so that if everybody

goes vertical, you're going to have a three deep defense with the corners playing outside leverage,
