Let me ask you right off the top, forget about the game itself, but 2024, what is your biggest storyline you think of this Major League Baseball season?

It's the greatness of the players in the American League for me.

Like I just love the conversation we're going to have in the second half about whether or not

Aaron Judge can beat his own record.

High fly ball, left field and deep.

can move that wall as far as you want out in left field. He'll still get over it. I love the conversation

we're going to have about the MVP race. I mean if Judge hit 65 home runs he's

going to win the award. But think about it, you have Gunner Henderson having this

phenomenal year for the Orioles, you have Bobby Witt Jr. You have Jose Ramirez leading

this Cleveland team. I just love that. I was saying earlier this season that I'm glad that I was not assigned

an MVP vote in the American League because I think it's going to be that difficult.

Individuals are one thing, teams are another. Who do you think squad-wise has has I don't want to say over achieved but

surpass their goals to this point of the season? Well the guardians certainly have a surprise

this right? They've been competitive every year since Terry Francona was hired to even vote this year and they check a lot of boxes. I think Kansas City is the team that probably has come the furthest.

You know, they won 56 games in all of 2023 and this year they'll

surpass that by the time we get to the fourth week of July, which is crazy.

So they've taken a big step forward as a team.

And I, you know, on the team side too, what I like is the idea that we're going to have teams that will go in
