Okay, so let's go through them. I want to hear point number one. Tell me about happy.

Happy is not bad. And it's so perfect because we're going to go back out there to a pretty miserable world.

And so you have to be able to look around you when there's a lot of road rage.

When there are people, there's just road rage in the line at your local Starbucks.

You know, there's just like people just in all the misery when you're watching the news.

And, you know, you've got to be able to say happy's not bad in the Bible.

And so let me hear that with a little attitude. Say it again.

Happy is not bad in the Bible. And number two, I hope this landed with somebody. We've got a

gospel responsibility to rebel against our misery. So when we realize, I'm not talking about sadness,

we're going to talk about that today. I'm not about misery. I'm just talking about misery.

Who in the room knows the difference between just being sad or even being heartbroken about

something and just being miserable? Has anybody ever been miserable besides me where you just

go, you know what, you are one miserable soul? I want you to raise up your hand if you have ever been miserable because I know

every one of you have. We know what that's like, where you think, you know what, it doesn't

matter that this, all these things happen to you anymore. What has happened now is you have

turned so on yourself that you have made your own self miserable.

And that was really, really an eye-opener to me as I had to confront that at times in my own life.

Number three, we are on our way to happily ever after.

Now, I've got to tell you something because this is so important.

You know what message by and large, at least in the West, you know what message we're

giving to the world and to a lot of the church that we are on our way to crappily ever after.

That's what it looks like.
