overstepped its authority in conducting investigations against American citizens. And not just a few times.

We're talking in the hundreds of thousands of times. Correspondent David Spont is at the Justice Department

tonight with the breaking details. Good evening, David. Well, we are joined by Steve Friend,

former FBI special agent recently testified in Congress about the retaliation. Steve,

welcome again to the show. First, let's get your comments on that headline or

that news item that the FBI was spying without a warrant on American citizens. I think it's just

more evidence how the Congress has to end the 702 search ability for our federal government at this point. That is a weapon, that is a tool

that is being weaponized, and it exists for no other reason then to be weaponized. And certainly

the guardrails have fallen off here, and the FBI is not hesitating at all to step outside the

law. Well, that's so perfectly put.

I mean, there's so many other examples of these FBI bulletins that, you know, used to be

maybe used to actually warn people about real threats, but now it's just used as a, once

again, a tool that's been weaponized.

And it seems like time and time again weaponized against conservatives,

against Trump supporters, against Christians and Catholics,

and people who are against abortion, it's just,

it's like living in a parallel universe because there was a day when the FBI,

they were the good guys and they

were going against the mobsters and the gangsters and the lawless ones. And it's changed so much.
