Survive Change. We all experience change and sometimes it can be difficult to

navigate, but the key to transformation begins with our thoughts. What we think

can determine whether we face change quickly or it lasts longer than it has to.

And we don't have to survive change on our own. Joyce reminds us that when we

choose to trust God we'll see he is with us every step of the transforming

journey. Now here's Joyce with today's teaching. Well I'm doing a little series

here this weekend about transformation about how we can be changed into the

image of Christ and how as believers according to the Bible we become new

creatures in him. All things pass away all things become new, but I think

sometimes that can be a little bit confusing to us because we think well if

I'm so new then why do I still act so old? Why you know if all things have

passed away why do I still do old things? And the thing is as we're in a process

called transformation which actually means complete change. And it's interesting

because we all crave and want a need change and yet most of the time we're

really really afraid of it. You know we we're done with the old we don't want

the old we want the new but yet somehow we're afraid to let go of this old

thing because we're not real sure what the new thing is going to be yet. And

we're going to talk more about that tonight the process of change and how our

emotions act during change and all those different things. But the thing that
