April 14 to 20 is International Dark Sky Week, sponsored by the International Dark Sky Association.

Scott Cardell is the Association's Public Affairs Director.

He wants to help all of us take back the sky, and he'll explain how in a few minutes.

You may think SOS stands for Save Our Ship. You're right, but it also means Save Our Space.

Bill Nye will drop by to ask for help in getting the U.S. Congress to restore funding

for planetary science and exploring our solar system.

Ever so much later in the show, we'll spend a few moments with Bruce Betts.

He's the astronomer and the Planetary Society Director of Projects

who helps us take a look at that too often obscure night sky.
