There's been events in the news in the last week that tangentially or directly touch on some of the stuff.

We've got some commentary on stuff. We got some dissenting opinions,

so we need to educate, and I guess we should just get right into it.

First up is Matt from Bristol. He's from the United Kingdom.

As you're watching this show, are you assuming the character details are mostly true to life? For example,

if Simon's trying to make an actual point about competence with the flute,

the flautist, does that mean Eric Jensen doesn't play the flute in real life?

I'm not sure if it matters too much as the metaphorical truth is sometimes more important

than the literal truth in a drama like this, but I'm curious what you think.

Most shows like this, I will just kind of say, eh say it's probably not very close to reality or if it is it's only in the broad strokes

Here I feel like David Simon tends and Pelicontos tend to stick a little closer to reality and the story they're

telling is one that is you know crazy and fucked up enough to be like one of the stories you could just tell how it happened and and it's entertaining and engrossing and all those things. So I give his stuff a little bit more credence when it's, I give his stuff a little bit more credence when it comes to like the details.

I think it also, it depends on whether people are composites.

Like for example, Nicole Steele, she's just invented.

Yeah, same with her partner, Ahmad.

I don't know, because the two special agents here,

I think are composites. So, but I could be wrong because I haven't actually gone through,
