Americans in particular have moved away from butcher shops where the animals are hanging in the

windows. We want our meat wrapped in plastic so we don't have to deal with this. And the companies

want you to have your meat wrapped in plastic because they don't want you to question whether you're

going to eat it or not, right? Like they want you to drive through window, take the paper bag out

and put that in your mouth and not think about what this is. So in the larger way, conscious consumption of our food,

in the face of everyone wanting you to eat more and more all the time

so we can keep this economy going,

I think that that's a huge thing for us.

And at the end, when you start on peeling sort of the onion of this,

the questions around food, at the heart of it is will humanity survive

and unless we consciously consume unless we turn this boat around in some way the answer is no
