would come into a given industry and run circles around the existing players.

But now that's big, it has dried up.

So the incumbents are winning, and that means their earnings could be better than anyone thinks.

I think the lack of competition for these incumbents has been fueling a lot of the market's recent strength,

especially in the Nasdaq.

Even today, it finished pretty flat.
