And thank you all so very much for joining us here on Expanded Perspectives with me, Cam Hale.

And as always, setting in studio with me is a man whose mood has slowly improved due to cooler weather and better play by his hockey team, Kyle Philson. I'm here, yes, in studio. I have a head cold or something. I don't know if it's the change in weather. Dude, if I had a head to look like that, I'd be sick too. Man, I just, I don't, if I sound weird, I just, you always sound weird. Yeah, I know, but I mean, more than normal. I don't know what it is. That nose is completely stopped now. Bro, we got to do something about you.

I got to do something about you. I got a paddle bit and a drill. Yeah. We got to do something. I'm getting worried about, although your sleeping has improved. Yeah. Bro, when we've been on those trips and you brought your fighter pilot mask, it is amazing. It is amazing. Look, I'm happy because my brother's going to be around a lot longer. Like, I was really afraid there for a while, like, homie ain't going to be with us once we get past about 55. I didn't know. But now he's fixed. I didn't know how bad my sleep was. You know, I had to go do several sleep. This was years ago. Several sleep tests and stuff. And yeah, man, soon you started using that CPAP, do you're back in action? I feel way better than I did before. You don't know that you're waking up a thousand times a night during your sleep. Right. Near death all night long. That's all sleep is, is the cousin of death.

Right? That's it. That's right. Hope all of y'all have been doing great and getting better. Look, weather's getting cooler here. I know on the other side of the globe, it's warming up. Good for y'all. Y'all are tired of the cold. We are finally enjoying it. We had a hellacious little rainstorm blow through here. Boy, no hard water, but a lot of wind.

We knocked down limbs.

There was all kinds of stuff just randomly. We're rolling dice at D&D. And the next thing I know, there's tornado sirens. Well, just yesterday, me and my wife were coming back where she went to work with me. We went up to Decatur and stuff and we would come back. And when we came home, we came back by the lake.

We were then to go to EGB.

Drove by that disc golf course.

And it looked like a river had run through that thing. There were full-sized trees just laying in fairways. So I have no idea how many inches of rain we got. I have no clue. Yeah, it came through with a vengeance.

You know what's funny as lifelong Texans.

It was funny to me to see out of stateers starting to freak out when the tornado sirens and stuff are going.

Oh, yeah. Dude, this is par for the course. Everybody that lives with tornadoes is probably the same way as everybody that lives with like. Hurricanes. Well, and like, yeah, hurricanes is probably another one of those or even earthquakes.

It's like there is a point to where you know when to be afraid and when not to be afraid.

Because like you talk, it happens every year.

Like we've talked all the way up, you know, from here in Missouri, Kansas is far in Nebraska.

Everybody that lives in this tornado alley stretch that gets hit with it, you get so

used to growing up around it that it's just commonplace. And yeah, when you get people that

have never lived here that move in here. And I'm sure I would be the same way with an earthquake.
