a couple weeks ago you're on hbo looked like you had some fun on the shop and uh supporting a friend

lebron and you uh maverick you kind of went after a team out there who you felt disrespected you

how did you use that as most how did you use that as motivation you kind of went after a team out there who you felt disrespected you.

How did you use that as motivation?

You know, I think, just, again, generic comments and so forth.

And there's a lot of teams that I thought would have been more interested in free agency.

But I had never been a free agent.

And you go through free agency and then you realize,

well, there really does need to be a unique time, you know,

for us to, you know, come together as a team in free agency.

So, yeah, there were certain teams that I thought, okay, yeah, they probably need a quarterback.

And, you know, in the end, they didn't think they did. So that ended up being a motivation just because I think it stoked kind of how I felt coming out in the draft,

where, you know, you get overlooked by every team six times that motivates you because you want

to prove them all wrong. And then, you know, for different reasons, you compete and you want to
