There's been a lot of talk about masculine and feminine lately Between the Man of Spear dropping on Netflix And all kinds of viral videos trying to sway people to one side or the other I wanted to do an episode where we break it all down And cut through the noise so we can better understand the conversation Which is why I have on this particular guest this week. Let's do it.

I'm excited to be joined this week by Dave Rossi. He is the author of the book, Alphas Die Early.

And Dave, I am so excited to have you here. Thanks for being here. I'm equally as excited to be here. Thank you for having me.

I cannot wait to get into the conversation about alphas because as we were talking off of the mic, this is a hot topic right now. But more than that, I want to know how this all started. Why you wrote this book, where it all began. Oh, gee, I think it kind of came after my first book.

I wrote a first book called The Imperative Habit, which was a book from the fallout of my 17-year marriage, which I chose to depart. It came with a lot of grief, a lot of lawsuits, a lot of loss. And then I kind of had another book in me, and the real title was Stop Being a Real man so you could be a real man, which meant a lot

about what I learned getting divorced and hitting reset on my life. So it was a lot about

accountability, accountability, awareness, authenticity, a lot of spiritual principles to manhood

and to being alive. And then I realized how much gender drove a lot of

my choices in my marriage. And so I had another book in me and I changed the name to Alpha's

Diorally. Wow. Okay. There's been several steps in this process. Okay. So take me back to the first one

because as you said, there was a lot of things that happened in your life that led you to get to this moment.

What were those kind of defining moments where you're like, oh, wow, I'm learning.

Maybe it's you're learning it now when you look back at that time in your life and you're like, that is not the person that I want to be?

That's a great question.

First of all, the first thing you have to do to come to this realization is miss a lot

and go through a lot of pain.

There was a lot of, I didn't know this at the time, but I was married for 17 years and

16 and a half were miserable.

And you really don't realize that until the end.
