I don't think I will introduce my son to a man that I'm dating until it's like very

serious, like a few years. Because if he, if he disappears, you have to think about your kid,

you know, an eight-year-old kid meeting a person that's important to mommy. And if he disappears,

I mean, I could say he died.

And Amon could just have a bunch of uncles that died.

They're like, man, whenever my mom date somebody, they always die.

Bad dates! Dear Joel, I went on a couple of dates with a cute guy. Pretty normal, good dates,

good convo, long hours spent together. There was a bit of a red flag on the second date, which was

that he was drinking a lot. Well, we were drinking a lot. But then he told his story about being

super drunk at a bar once and then going to the bathroom and punching a mirror and then coming out

covered in blood. I still found this endearing enough at the time to hook up with him.
