Sledron First Survival, the latest imagination station book, is now available in Hardcover.

If you enjoyed the Club Adventure title, The Cure, about the modern day I did a rod,

you'll love this story about the original medicine run in Alaska that inspired that annual race.

The story has all sorts of animals in the snow, including sled dogs, wolves, walruses,

and even polar bear. But the greatest enemy is one so tiny that no one can see it.

I want to hear more about that. Let's talk to Mary Ann Herring, the book's author,

Tell us about your role at Focus and your work on the imagination station book specifically.

Well, my role at Focus, I've been here about 12 years now.

I'm an editor, and on the imagination station books, I'm, I guess, I'm more like a production editor.

I like work with pictures, and I work with Mary Ann to brainstorm ideas for the book.
