Welcome to Legends of Aventress.

Last time, on Tainted Grail, our three brave, wizened adventurers, with experience and age, finally laid eyes on the wonderful city of Camelot.

It didn't take you long before you approached the city walls and became acclimated to this city.

Many of you have never seen a city this large before. It was a very unique experience. It might

have been overwhelming for some of you, but you all managed to find your way. You met some of the

locals. You interacted with different people who, some were friendly, some less so. You found your way to an inn and were able to secure lodging, keeping your ear out for

what was next.

Any kind of hint, tip, anything that might give you a lead on where to go next. After some dicey encounters with drunks, nobles, barns, and women, you were told that there would be

an open court day, and it's something that happened only once every month or so.

A day where the people of Avalon, and especially Camelot, could air their grievances, bring their

concerns to the queen. You knew that this was your best shot at speaking to somebody who might

have any idea to help you in your predicament.

It wasn't long before you spent the day dealing with the bureaucracy, the lines, the

advisors, shuffling you this way and that way until it was your turn to speak to one of

the court wizards, and that's where you met

archibald there was some conflicting feelings about this wizard he seemed earnest and like he wanted

to help you but not everyone was entirely convinced or sold on his knowledge.

He did ultimately tell you that what you sought could be found potentially

in the northernmost point of Avalon,

in a castle called Castle Crow's Nest.

It was Christoph who was most keenly aware of the name of this place and the denizens that live there.

You learned of Mordred, the necromanic former Knight of the Roundtable, who has hold himself up in said castle.
