And so I'm looking at Jenny through sort of like this black hole

with like also purple and red and green lines mixed into it.

So I can't see her trademark responses

to some of my worst takes as well as I would like to,

but, you know, hey, you know, we're all playing her this time of year so I will get to the meet of this in a second but it

seems strange that this was a big week for deals and you know I would guess that teams and salary cap

managers and people who were in charge of that kind of stuff have an idea of what's

coming down the pike the Brown's salary cap manager had said as much a few weeks ago that they are

anticipating you know the salary cap condensing and they've built in some

protections and I'm sure all the teams are like that but for a league that doesn't know what its revenue is going to

look like for a league that doesn't know if they're going to have a season pretty

fascinating that we saw some really big deals get done here right under the gun.

Yeah we had talked earlier that we thought that might be the uncertainty might be a deterrent,

but I guess in the context of things this is still the deadline teams still want to lock up

players long term if it's if it's somebody that they are we're planning to anyway

but it is a little strange because we don't know if camps are going to open we're

going to talk about that a little later in the show we're two weeks away from
