Today inshallah our brief Khatera will be a quick explanation of Surat-e-Layl that I recited in the

second rakah. Surat-e-Layl is as you are often recited Surah and it is one that inshallah

has a lot of benefit as with all of the smaller suras. It is also the ending of the middle

kisar. So the kisar of the small suras have three the large kisar of the middle kisar and

the small kisar right. So the kisar of sur have the three sections. Surat-e-Layl is the ending

of the middle kisar of the beginning of the small kisar which is from what do I have. Surat-e-Layl

was revealed after an incident and the incident it referenced inside the sura. That incident was

Abu Bakr al-Sadiq, Radyallahu'an, freed Bilal even Abu Rabah when he saw Bilal being tortured

so severely and he went to Umayya, even Khalaf and he said tell me your price and Umayya gave

an exorbitant price and Abu Bakr Radyallahu'an without any question, without any negotiation

he just paid the price for Bilal and so rumors began to spread. People mocked Abu Bakr al-Sadiq

and they said oh he must oh Bilal, a favor Bilal must have done something to him. So they made

fun of a very noble act in this regard so Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala revealed the sura right after

and you will see an ayah or two the references as we're going to get to. So Allah begins the sura

as usually the makhan suras begin with a qasam or a series of qasam and as we said many times

qasams are oats and the purpose of the oath you draw attention to what is going to come

so you bring the attention of the reader in the Arabic language you will bring the attention

of the reader and you will emphasize the object of the qasam. So Allah Azza wa Jal gives the qasam

in this sura wallayli ida yalashah, wannahari ida tajallah, wama al-Khalak al-Zakar wal-Untha
