So today I recited Surah Tel Belat. It's a nice short surah.

We'll just quickly go over it so that we have an understanding of the

meanings and implications and inshaAllah it will be something that will

increase our Khushra. It's a very common surah that is recited in the salah.

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala reveals Surah Tel Belat is the early Makhansura.

It's the standard styles of the early Makhansura.

The cussums that occur, always the cussum, the oath that occurs.

It is a sign of the Makhansura.

And Kalla is a sign of the Makhansura.

And the short powerful succinct versus sign of the Makhansura.

So Surah Tel Belat exactly exemplifies all of the characteristics of the Makhansura.

And Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala begins as usual in the Makhansuras by the cussum.

And the purpose of the cussum is to draw attention to what

is going to be sworn about.

What is the emphasis that is going to be given?

Surah Tel Qasim has only two cussums.

La'uqsaimu Bihad al Belat.

Now the word la throws a lot of non-Arab's off because the first thing you learn

in Arabic na'am Allah.
