Just wanted to give you a quick heads up that we recorded these

B-Writer conversations over the course of the past week before teams played their first preseason

games. It shouldn't change too much about the topics discussed, but especially with something like

the Browns quarterback battle and Chador Sanders, I felt like it was context to keep in mind as you

were listening. When it comes to Chador's performance, I got to say was context to keep in mind as you were listening.

When it comes to Shadur's performance, I got to say I was impressed.

I can tell you that in talking to folks in Cleveland this week, Shadur was behind Dylan Gabriel in the quarterbacking order there.

That was honestly based on a lot of operational elements in the offense, spitting out play

calls, working through progressions on time,

setting and checking protections. I think based on how that offense was taught to the players of

Colorado, Chador came in with a little less foundational knowledge about how the position

would operate in the league. And it just put him a little bit behind at the start of camp.

But by all counts, it really matters to him. and he's been putting in the work to get himself

there.

And as far as Friday night goes, there was playing alike.
