devoting ourselves to Lord the daily. We're back in new morning mercies without further

No need to carry the burden of ownership of your life today. You've been bought with

a price so you don't belong to you anymore. You and I have been freed from carrying the

burden of all the regrets of the past of our needs and the present and of all the unanswered

questions of the future. We have been freed from living with the anxiety that comes from

thinking that we have no greater resources than we can provide for ourselves. You and

I have been freed from the stress of thinking we have to figure it all out on our own.

We have been freed from worrying about needing to control things that are actually beyond

our control. You and I don't need to ring our hands wondering what's coming unexpectedly

down the road. We don't have to fear that we won't have enough or that will come up

short. You and I don't have to panic at the thought that in the end, we will fail and

be left alone. We have been freed from the burden of finding our own way and writing

our own rules. As God's children, we simply do not have to carry any of these burdens.

You don't have to worry about these things for one simple, transformative reason. You

don't belong to you anymore. You have been bought with a price so your life is now under

new ownership and new management. The God who now owns you is committed to keep you

and care for you. He is committed to supply everything you need. The God who owns you
