I'm going to be brief on this because I think, to be honest with you, most of what the Lord wanted to do just got done.

And I hate to, the move of the spirit is something I don't like to add anything to unless it's absolutely necessary.

But there's part of the story of the life of David, I think, really closely connects with what the Lord has done here tonight.

And I just think it's important in every other arena.

And unfortunately, in the arena of the church there has been an

unwritten rule that says the real man never needs any help it's a lie in the

culture and the lie in the culture has permeated the church.

And so we as men, even to other men, learn to become professional pretenders.

Because where's a safe place you can go and say it's falling all apart, and I have no idea how to keep it together?

It's got to be within a circle of other men.

Amen?

It's got to be within the safe confines of a place where you can go.

I'm telling you, if I didn't have men that I could go to,

then I'm convinced my nature is that I would internalize things that would ultimately eat me alive.

What many of you did tonight is you just came in a circle where it was safe

to shed some tears and say, I don't have the macho thing on me tonight.

This one's not one I can fix by pulling myself up by my

bootstraps. I'm going to need Jesus for this one. And he, I'm telling you, it moves his heart.

I'm learning more and more. Our dependence upon him is all he requires. He's not looking for our

dependence, not looking for our dependence and our strategy to meet his

grace just our dependence and then he comes in with the strategy and i was studying and reading some
