Well, it's the final, it's the final show of the year.

2020.

What a year it's been.

And how do we manage to keep bringing shows out of stuff when, oh, nothing's really

happened much, is it?

Or that's it?

I can't work out.

I was getting ready to write next week's column on the review of the year,

and I can't work out whether it's been the busiest year ever or the quietest. It's all very

strange and surreal, isn't it? But yes, fundamentally good. What about itself?

It's, yeah, it's been a so-so week. I've started, I've been dragged into the Christmas spirit a little bit.

I don't know if our viewers would notice, because I can't see actually whether the images are actually playing properly on a stream.

But I've actually put my Christmas tree up, the same Christmas tree that I bought in Woolworths about 20 years ago that, well, 15 years ago,

that I leave in a plastic bin liner in the cupboard with all of the decorations still on it

and just put the feet on it and put the branches out. But the lights don't work. Outrageous. You buy

something and it doesn't last 15 years. It's absolutely terrible. You paid good money for that, I'm sure.
