Boomer joins us on the AT&T expert hotline. Hello, Boomer. It's been a long time. Yes, it has. Happy New Year, guys. Great to talk to you. You know, the Patriots didn't play a game this weekend. So what is there really to talk about? That's right. there was very little.

But what do you make about this power struggle?

Does this happen with most NFL teams after a little while? If it is actually happening, I'm surprised it hasn't happened before this, but I would tell you, you got three A-type personalities,

you've got three unbelievable competitors, you've got three guys that are always pushing for the

same thing. I always say that

there's probably some strife somewhere along the line. There's somebody's getting rubbed the wrong

way or somebody isn't getting the accolades that they, you know, that they would want. But I would

just tell you this, you have the greatest coach in NFL history, the greatest quarterback in NFL

history. And if you really want to

put Bob Kraft into the owner's circle of the greatest owner in NFL history, I guess you could say

that given Gillette Stadium, Patriot Place, all the winning, the money that he spends and everything

else. And the way that their product is basically on the tips of everybody's tongues,

it seems like every single week of the NFL season.

I would say that, yeah, there's going to be a little bit, but I wouldn't make too much out of it.

The interesting thing from my standpoint will be what will the coaching staff look like once their season is over.

Matt Patricia, it looks like he's going to go to the Lions.

Josh McDaniels has probably got the inside track. I would think either to Chicago or Indianapolis because of their quarterback situations. If he wants to go, he could probably take one of those jobs tomorrow. And then what does Bill Belichick decide to do at the end of the year? Does he want to continue to do this? Or does he retire or does you want to go to the giants i you know i
