Everyone loves my lovely husband. Aww. I know. Every time we meet people in the real world, they recite that line back. It's really cute. It is cute. But you are wonderful. And you are too. Love best over here. It is, we're giddy. We're giddy, because it is the busiest week of our year, and we've come to the end of it, and now we're just kind of giddy and tired. And it's fun. It's fun doing something like this. I mean, we work nonstop, but I love doing this. I still love my job. I still love it. I don't get tired of talking about the red carpet at all. Yeah, beautiful dresses and stuff.

Yeah.

And movies, obviously.

So it is, this is our Oscars wrap-up podcast.

We're very late in getting it done, but, you know, like I said, busy week and there's

construction going on and as the week, we almost didn't get it done.

And then I kind of put my foot down and I was like, we cannot skip a podcast on our busiest week of the year. So it's our little Oscars wrap up. I don't really think there's going to be major revelations or arguments here. We're just going to touch on some of the stuff. I think we'll just jump right into Timite. Oh, how we? Well, we went off on Timite last week, so I don't think we need to rehash it too, too much.

But I do want to say a couple of things.

One is that he was sort of the favorite to win, but things were skewing towards Michael B. Jordan over the last several weeks.

And as I said in last week's podcast, I really do think that BAFTA thing...

Yeah, probably.

...solidified a bunch of people in a bunch of people's minds.

I'm giving it to that guy.

Yeah, it wasn't a ballet and opera thing.

It wasn't that at all.

Most of the voting had closed at that point, and I don't necessarily think voting members of the Academy or- Give a shit about that. No, they don't. They don't. The little social media whims back and forth. However... They do get annoyed with actors acting... Like it's owed to them.
