Summary

LSU surprised college football by unseating Alabama atop the SEC West in 2022, but the Tigers didn't have enough firepower to turn that into a trip to the College Football Playoff. Can Brian Kelly's squad be more consistent this season, and can that lead to another title run in Baton Rouge? Brian Hadad talks with Wilson Alexander of The Advocate to get his thoughts on this upcoming campaign. Brian Hadad of SportsTalk Mississippi and Robbie Faulk of 24/7 give you the best insight into Mississippi State athletics. We cover the Bulldogs like no one else. They're going to be expected to play better. And so that's not how they're kind of treating this season is trying to take that next step and being able to be the team that's hunted by everybody. But, you know, LSU usually kind of is. That's the position they're used to being in. And now this program is just kind of back to that spot. But it's a little bit interesting because it's back to that spot for the first time under Brian Kelly and this team. You look at LSU's season from a year ago. It was bookended by some really inexplicable losses.
