Let's wrap up the spring previews.

We'll go to College Station, talk to our friend Travis Brown from the Brian College Station Eagle, been with almost many times before.

And Travis, I don't think there's a college football program that has a more of a like a breath of fresh air kind of of mood around it than Texas A&M.

Jimboo, there's just no getting around it.

The last three years he's been kind of an anchor, been kind of a dark cloud, could say over that program.

Everybody was just kind of waiting for him to get fired

and that huge buyout would get paid.

And then Texas A&M could move on and they've done that.

I love Elko. I think he's a really good coach. Am I the only

one seeing that or when you talk to fans when you talk to people around Texas A&M, do they feel like

maybe a little bit of a weight has been lifted.

Yeah, I think that a lot of people did feel a little bit

hampered by the output that Jimbo-Fisher did in his last few years

and by that contract, seemingly that they kind of going to be stuck with them and I think that from what a lot has been said and seen a lot of what the early successes in Jbo Fisher's tenure were and was the organization and the

discipline that was brought by Mike Elko as the defensive coordinator then.

So it was a natural fit.

It was a guy seemingly bringing in a guy who kind of knew the area,

the environment, a lot of the roster,

the transition has seemed to be pretty smooth and you can just I think in

talking with Mike Elko he's an Ivy League guy you can sense the intelligence of him and the coaches that he's brought in in just kind of

talking ball with him and talking about the way that they approach things.
