Let's hit up Texas A&M today with Tony Catalina from the Austin American statesman.

Tony, I got like a journalism question to start off here.

Is it a little odd being the Texas A&M beat writer for the Austin paper?

Yeah, it gets brought up quite a bit, to be honest with you.

We were covering the baseball series last weekend, and I got to sit with all my Austin American

States been coworkers, and it felt funny to be local media for a weekend.

You know what I mean?

So, no, it's been good.

It's been fun.

But yeah, I do get that question quite often.

I'm just trying to picture like the Auburn Beat Rider for the Tuscaloosa News or something

like that.

That guy might have to fight in the streets.

I don't know.

I don't know how that would go.

Let's talk about Texas A&M. I thought for a second last year that this was it. They were finally about to break through and get to that, the promised land of the college football playoff.

And then the season just ended not the way they wanted it to.

Obviously, the injury to Levion Moss played a huge role in that.

When you think back to last season, was I correct in thinking this A&M team, when it was at its best, was one of the best teams

in college football?
