Modern Wellness.com. We used to have John Hale on the podcast all the time, but the SEC

schedule makers have conspired against us over the past few years. Kentucky's still not on

0:47.0

the Mississippi State schedule, but we will get a look at them here in the spring, John Hale,

who has joined us many, many times back with us. And John, I did an interview recently with Cole Kublich and asked him about Kentucky, and he was very, very, what's the word I'm looking for? It was enthusiastic. He was optimistic about the Kentucky Wildcats. I saw recently that J.D. Pekyll from 1-3 was talking about Kentucky, and he seemed very, very optimistic about the Wildcats. something Kentucky has lacked for a long time.

1:51.2

What they did in the transfer portal, getting Kenny Minchie from Notre Dame at quarterback,

1:55.1

a guy that NFL scouts are really high on, even though he hasn't played very much, getting,

2:00.1

Like, that's a great foundation to start on. They got to prove it. They got to go out and show that they can win games in the fall. But, you know, in terms of the first four months on the job, I don't think you could have hoped for it to go any better realistically. I want to talk about that transfer portal class because you know that the word on Kentucky has always been. They put their resources into basketball, and football NIL was going
