Obviously the, uh, the ten, the tone of this, uh, this chat's gonna be a little different it was going to be maybe an hour and a half ago.

If you're an avid listener of Thunder and Lightning, Joel and I used to talk about this stat all the time,

that state had never come back from more than 14 down ever in its history.

They had never been down by 14 points at any point in any game and come back to win that game.

They did that today. They were down 20. So this is the greatest comeback in Mississippi State history by the numbers.

Obviously it shouldn't have come to this.

State was looking really sharp early.

They looked tremendous late, but the middle of the game

was a big crap sandwich that we just sort of have to work our way around and try to figure out if those things are fixable.

The offensive line was not good today.

There were too many penalties.

All and all, it was just not what you expected for Mississippi State today.
