We are here live in the press box at Davis Wade Stadium following Mississippi State's season opening win.

4923 is the final score as Mississippi State takes down Memphis.

No real problems for the Bulldog.

A little sloppy phase there in the third, early fourth quarter, but

547 yards of total offense, a great night for Will Rogers, 4.50 in the air, five touchdowns.

Defensively, you hold them under 300 yards, held them to, I think only had 100 yards total offense at at one point midway through the third quarter.

Spread the ball around.

There's a lot of positive to take away.

There's a touch that we'll talk about maybe a little more in detail on the podcast.

Let's just sort of focus on the positives here.

State was in complete control of the game, led by as many as 32 points.

Let Memphis back in it a little bit there towards the end.

But when they had to sort of put the game away, State coming up with two late touchdown drives to put it out of reach.
