You know, coaches love to use the coach-speak term adversity.

You learn a lot through adversity.

You learn a lot about yourself through tough times.

What did last season teach

Blake Shapen about himself? Yeah, I mean, it taught me a lot. I think that was the first year that I've

missed a total of eight games. I mean, the most games I've missed is four games in the season. So,

you know, missing eight games taught me a lot. It makes me realize how blessed I am to get to play the game of football for our team.

I feel like learning a lot with Coach Levy being its first year and, you know, going through

a lot of ups and downs, really a lot of downs last year.
