Mississippi State, LSU, one of the great historical rivalries in all of college baseball,

a man who played a big part in a couple of big wins for Mississippi State.

Jeremy Jackson joins me now.

And Jeremy, let's start here.

At the time you were at Mississippi State, LSU and Mississippi State were

easily the top two programs in the conference on a year-in, year-out basis. What was Coach

Polk's relationship with Coach Burtman like, if you can remember? Well, it was, obviously,

they were friends going back to the Miami days. And ofen, Coach Berk had just had the success there really

in those early 90s and we were had sort of proceeded that with Coach Polk, but it was always a respect.

He always, you know, talk about skip and tell stories, but, uh, you know, of course, everybody

respected Coach Polk and his relationship, he's such a relationship guy. All the coaches were always, you know, the most respect for him.
