If you've been around Starkville the past few weeks, past few months, if you've been on message boards, if you've been on Twitter,

you've seen it, you've seen it you've seen

people advertising for the Starkville Derby the first annual Wiener Dog race taking place

in the Cotton District next weekend on Saturday the fourth and that will be with the weekend of the

Arkansas game and that is going to be a big event it's gotten a lot of traction a lot of

great stuff going on and of course my favorite part is going to benefit the Octibald Hall County Humane Society, which if you've listened to this show in the past, you know, I'm a big supporter of them. Three of my, my, oh if you're going to take my picture man, I'm going to pop the video on, so hold on.

So that being said, let's talk about that event today.

Alden Thornhill, who maybe the best official title I've ever heard in my life,

the founder and official liaison of the Starkville Sausage Dog Society.

You know, there were actual sausage dogs, Alden, I might actually be a member of this myself,

but I don't own a Wiener dog as it were.
