remiss though not to ask you to reminisce on your days at Alabama with the announcement

a couple weeks ago of coach Saban retiring what were just what were your thoughts when you heard the news

that he was going to be walking away from the game?

You know, really surprised.

Obviously, you know, I had a great time in my two years working for coach and, you know, to be able to learn every day and just, you know, soak in as much as I could you know thought

thought he was going to do it to a hundred but you know obviously the time was

was right for him and Miss Terry and you know excited for him to kind of go to

that next chapter and you know I'm sure spend a lot of time on the on the golf course

this job first time or to be an SEC defensive coordinator you were a
