about the 1999 Egg Bowl.

Let's do another round of egg bowl memories joining me now Mississippi State defensive back from our all SEC defensive back Robert Bean.

Robert, you had one of the most interesting careers as far as Egg Bowls go.

You only played in two, but they might be the two biggest wins in Mississippi State

history as far as that particular rivalry goes.

Arriving in Mississippi State when you did in 98 and coming from Georgia, what did you know

about the Egg Bowl when you got to got to start with them?

I just knew that it was a big rivalry game, you know, in state

in state game and I know that you know it's a, it's a, it's a, it's a, it's a, it's a, it's, it's a, it's,

tough competition.

So, you know, I just had to come out and just, uh, perform and do it be the best I can,

you know.

What was, uh, what was coach Cheryl's message around around these weeks

well not that time it's like, you know, he's big on, you know, remember your assignments, you know, hustle into the play, hustle to the ball, you know, he really wanted to win. So it was a hot hedge during the day, during the week, but we end up cooler here to prevail and we did a better job in old mess.
