There are a few strays that we neglected, and it was interesting to see in the reviews whether people pick that up or not.

The collections of short stories, then, for those who want everyone, are without a hero if the river was whiskey,

greasy lake, and descent of man. Now, it interests me that this collection is called T.C. Boyle Stories, and on the cover, under

stories, there's a little circle with letters T.C. as if it were trademark. So tell me,

what is a T.C. Boyle story? Well, first to that trademark, those irrepressible art directors,

what can we do with them?

I don't know if that's for me to say what is a T.C. Boyle story, but I think you, who have read every story ever written in the last 50 years, would agree that they are somehow unique

and that they do deserve their own rubric as some type of story.
