here's Andrew. Welcome to another special edition of the Gospel Truth

broadcast. You know, I've had David and Tim Barton on with me and we've been

talking about reasons that we should be thankful for America. And we've covered

a lot of things. We've countered a lot of the things that America's

systemically racist. The truth is it's systemically anti-racist. And we've

talked about a lot of great things about our founding fathers. And we were

contrasting the Jamestown colony with the Plymouth colony and on the last

program they were giving quite a bit of detail about how that the pilgrims made

it to the United States. But we really hadn't got into it much. So let's pick up

there and talk about what happened in Plymouth. And this is where our actual

Thanksgiving came from. Absolutely. Yeah. So when the pilgrims are determining

they're coming to the new world. And we talked about on previous programs the

miracles involved along the way. With God preserving the life like John

Howland or how their center beam broke and they had to get the jacks

screw and get it up. And they're trying to make it a Jamestown and the winds

blowing them north. So there's a lot of providence involved getting them to

where they finally end up going in the Plymouth area. And when they arrive we

talked about as a winter. And they don't have the provisions they need. And that
