This one is, you know, something really special. Before we get into it, I want to say thanks to everybody.

The kind feedback. Last week we had our episode with a teacher of autistic children who, along the way, realized that she was autistic.

The feedback to that one meant so much. I've had people reach out to me to say they were autistic and they appreciated it.

Parents of autistic people in the Facebook group. There were people kind of debating different forms of therapy that were mentioned.

And people talking about their relatives and different things they've had to deal with. But all of it was so beautiful and thoughtful and respectful.

And thank you to everybody who responded to that episode.

I have a feeling a lot of people are going to respond to this one as well.

Our caller is a Syrian refugee.

And that's a phrase that I bet a lot of us have heard over the past decade.

But I wonder how many people have heard that story in the person's own words.

This is as human look at this worldwide issue as I think you can get a call.

There's 18 years old. This was her childhood. She tells us all about it. And she is so eloquent in doing so that I just did my best.

Especially you'll hear the first half of the call. I just tried to shut up and get out of the way.

And the phrase refugee has been divisive all over the world. It's met with all sorts of strong reactions.

What should be done? Who should be allowed into what countries?

And I just really hope that no matter where you land on that, that you can listen to this story.
