A bit chilly this morning, but we are very much edging closer and closer and closer to the Christmas break.

I know you might want to hear that right now,

but we are, believe it or not, on Monday, December the 9th, the first week, absolutely rushed by.

We're going to speak to Rupert Lowe this morning, MP for Reform. Great Yarmouth, of course,

and managed to make quite a lot of noise down in Westminster alongside his four compadres.

Reform really batting above their weight, no question at all,

getting this government to be held to account.

Kirstama currently away in the Middle East.

He went off to Abu Dhabi yesterday, nothing to do with the Grand Prix.

Obviously, I'm assuming he didn't go to that.

He's later on today going to Saudi Arabia

to meet up with Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, where he's going to talk about green projects.

He's going to talk about carbonising and decarbonising. He's going to talk about brand new things being built in Newcastle.

He's going to talk about all sorts of businesses creating hundreds and hundreds of jobs in Britain.

Well, meanwhile, back home, we know that business

confidence is an all-time low. Farmers are revolting. They're driving around in tractors,

demonstrating everywhere. Pensioners are freezing in their homes. We've got working businesses

talking about shutting down and certainly not hiring anybody for the foreseeable future because

the national insurance increases are too high for them to

have to handle. The whole thing is a bit of a nightmare. Meanwhile, over in Syria, Bashar al-Assad has

fled the country and has gone off to seek refuge in Russia where he's been granted asylum,
