Let's talk about Syria like we do in every episode.

There's just a ceasefire agreed to by Russia and the U.S. and I'm assuming Assad as well about not bombing anyone except al-Nusra, ISIS, and quote

other militant groups because aren't the militants who were like actually arming with weapons

and funding? Aren't those militants as

well i i don't really understand like where the line's drawn do you no i mean we i think we're

officially funding it's that's why that's why it's really confusing because we were funding rebels

like the fsa and some other rebel groups like overtly and directly, not just

funding them, but giving them actual weapons and stuff. And then it just sort of evolved into

all of a sudden all these other rebel groups had weapons and some of them had U.S. weapons,

some of them didn't, and then they just

devolved into a total cluster fuck. Some of the rebel groups who used to be on the same side

or on our side are now fighting each other over there.

Yeah, and unfortunately the US could have avoided a lot of it, as VJ stated in that

interview that we did with them is that,

you know, we have this ambassador on the ground when, when like the first protests were going on,
