Summary

Park Chan-Wook’s loosely-linked “Vengeance Trilogy” comes to a starkly satisfying end with 2005’s LADY VENGEANCE - a normal flick…that’s all we have to say! Just kidding - we have LOTS to say about this one, with its stacked cast of lady convicts and grief-stricken parents. Our beloved Karen Han returns to the pod to correct our terrible Korean pronunciations and to tell us about “Jump Like A Witch” - a Korean reality series wherein famous female celebrities attempt to form a basketball team. Plus - it should surprise no one that this episode contains plenty of Pirates of the Caribbean discussion.

That's great. I really think it is true.

0:42.0

I made a four course meal out of that one. Not a five course, but a four course.

0:46.0

Is that including a deserter now?

0:48.0

Yes, right. A moose bush.

0:52.0

Into app. Into the app.

0:56.0

Salad or pasta course. Killer app. Yeah. Entrez.

1:00.0

And then dessert. dessert.

1:02.0

Or is it a meal and a bunch of side dishes as per Korean tables usually?

1:06.0

Just four sampler planters coming out at different times.

1:10.0

Is that really? So wait, how does that explain this?

1:14.0

The Korean dinner tradition?

1:18.0

This isn't super traditional, but it's like a general Korean dinner table. You'll have your rice.

1:22.0

There'll be a couple of big dishes like maybe fish or something like that.

1:26.0

But the big thing, it's like whenever you go to Korean barbecue, you know where there's a bunch of little plates out on the table.

1:30.0

Like that's the deal. You have a bunch of little plates that you can eat with the main course and with your rice.

1:36.0

It's a good way to eat.

1:38.0

Yeah. Maybe this is crazy, but I went to a restaurant the other night.

1:42.0

And I had never been there before. And the server came up to me.
