Summary

Sylvia Baker, 28, went downstairs on July 17th, 1982 to take out the trash. Sylvia never returned to her apartment, where her two young kids were watching TV. When she was found the next day, nude and bound with pieces of her own clothing, her family remained in a state of shock as police worked to track down her killers. Over 40 years later, no one’s been held accountable for Sylvia’s murder, but a DNA match and other clues have investigators closer than ever to the truth.

1:25.2	a break from the hustle and bustle of their weekday city lives.
1:29.0	On noon on this particular day, July 18, Doug Wilson, a 28-year-old Hartford man, was
1:34.3	at the park enjoying the day when a group of teenagers flagged him down.
1:38.8	The boys ran up to him from the park's pond and they were all talking a mile a minute.
1:43.8	They were frantic and said that they had been strolling around the park's pond and they
1:46.9	were pretty sure they had just seen a body at the edge of the water caught between some

1:52.4	And I bet part of Doug wondered if the boys who were complete strangers to him were
