The trial for this case is still active as we speak, and I'm sure that some of you have either heard about this case or are following this case as it's been unveiling itself within the past few weeks.

Now, I do want to say I am recording this episode on September 17th of 2023, so that is where I am at on being up to date on the trial information.

This case is a pure tragedy, it's horrific, and I'm very interested to see where you stand on it, and I'm eager to know what your thoughts are.

So with that being said, let's jump right on into it today.

Now, as you can tell by the title, today we are talking about the horrific murder of Brenda Powell.

Brenda Powell was born on March 19th, 1969 in Salem, Ohio.

She graduated from the University of Akron, which is in Ohio as well, and she graduated with a Child Life Specialist degree and went on to work at the Akron Children's Hospital for 28 years, where she worked as a Child Life Specialist in the Hospital's Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders.

While Brenda was working at the hospital, she founded the Oncology Teen Program and planned activities for families to help them celebrate each step of success along their journeys.

Brenda is described as someone who was devoted to her friends and her family.
