Well, what do you know? It is that time again. What time is that? It is time for

observations. I am Rob Leifeld. This is yet another installment of the long running

observations podcast. I'm not sure about the long running part, but look, happy

that you guys are here today to talk common books, pop culture, all the stuff that we normally

jammed to. This is going to be a really fun episode. I cannot believe I am going to say the

words elf quest on this podcast. Um, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, if we're going along the journey,

I've stayed so far just focused on my Marvel DC journey.

And they were a big part.

They were a big part of everything that I consumed

and everything that kind of made me

and all of my obsessions.

But along the way, there was a huge pivot.

And that is to this, uh, publication, this epic story called Elfquest.

And we're going to get to that in a minute.

First, in the hot topics, man, I debated doing an entire show on this because, man,

it is getting crazier and crazier. And what is getting crazier and crazier and what is getting crazier

and crazier what i'm speaking of is the absolute amount of disinformation about pretty much everything

that is out there uh in the interwebs and and I'm not here to condemn it.

I'm here to give you some safeguards, some, basically some tips, a handbook of sorts to detecting what is absolutely just the biggest pile of BS that is that is piling up uh on the internet in as as these people

are desperate for hits and clicks let me let me take you back a few months to a signing that I was
