When you go into a relationship from a place of not enough, you are instantly at odds with one another.

You are instantly in competition with one another because the resources are scarce.

There's not enough love to go around. There's not enough money to go around. There's not

enough intimacy. There's just not enough. And so while social media might give you one pathway,

getting back out in real life gives you a different pathway. And once it's there, you can't

unknow it. You know that it's there. And so once you tap into that feeling, that palpable,

tangible, heart-to-heart connection, even with perfect strangers, I think it moves you a little

bit closer to being willing to do that with people intentionally. You all, generally speaking,

don't find value in emotional regulations.

And you require us to do it for you.
