I hate to bring sad news to start off the day, but we really must

celebrate the life of and the talent of a guy who, I think a lot of people would know his name,

but a lot of people will not know his name. You probably know the sounds he created. However,

Dwayne Eddy, who was a pioneering rock and roll guitarist,

died at the age of 86. And this may be not his biggest hit, but the song that most people know,

the theme from Peter Gunn. So you hear him playing guitar, and he had a very distinctive style.

It was called the twangy guitar.

His notes just seemed to have a low octave twang to them that was very distinctive.
