All right, everybody, welcome back to another edition of The Teardown.

My name is Jeff Gluck.

I'm along with Jordan Bianchi.

We are motorsport writers for the athletic, and we are here at the Chicago Street course.

We are currently in a nice dry room, and it was a nice dry race, Jordan.

No rain.

The whole weather forecast was again. Oh, no, not again. Like, oh my God, we're going to have lightning. Like how what's

this race going to be like? Please, no delays. No rain. And just, just when we were done on pit road,

the sky started sprinkled, but it still hasn't downpored and never really stormed yet still so

hey we will take it we will take the forecasters being wrong on this one after chicago went through

it the first couple years of this thing but this could be the the last one we don't know um but at least

we finally saw a nice dry chicago race and it was perfect for one Shane Van Gisberg and

although he probably could have won in any sort of conditions as he did the first year

because he wraps up if this was the end of the Chicago Street race he wraps up his

Chicago experience by winning four out of the five races that he entered um and then the other one he got in a wreck

it wasn't his fault like someone literally just slid into him and took him out so yeah so uh yeah

the guy's pretty good here yeah do you think he's out like in front of like city hall on monday like

saying don't go don't go well no because he doesn't like cities so he he can't wait to get out of here

he said but um that's just because he's not a city, so he can't wait to get out of here, he said.

But that's just because he's not a city guy.

But he did say the city, you know, changed his life.
