Talking a little baseball, SEC baseball here on Locked on SEC Baseball Squad. I'm your host, Derek Cannon of Lockdown Falls, and we're going to talk about Tennessee to lead things off because why not, right? Locked on Vanderbiltz, Cory Burton, locked on Ole Miss, Stephen Willis, and Locked on Bam at Jimmy Stein. I'm glad to have you guys along for the ride. I appreciate you for joining us and making all of our shows your first list and your first watch here. The number one sports podcast network. That is a locked on podcast network. I joke and all that. We'll talk balls. Look like a different ball club out there. But, you know, setting up a pretty intense showdown, Stephen Willis. Old Miss, Tennessee this weekend. We'll get into that coming up later in the show.

But Old Miss sweeping LSU, something Tennessee didn't do two weeks ago. You had Bama coming down to Earth a little bit, a lot of bit. Arkansas swept. Bama and Vanderbilt falling two to one to Oklahoma while Tennessee took three in Starkville to Mississippi State.

So who wants to go first?

I guess we'll start with Stephen. Your team won pretty well this weekend. How did the Ole Miss

Rebels do against the Tigers? They played baseball. They were consistent in 26 of the 27

innings. The one inning that they weren't was almost a disaster on Sunday where they

gave up seven runs. They only gave up 12 for the whole weekend. They gave up seven in one

inning to allow a tie. They were able to win the game to get this sweep. But they just played

consistent baseball. They put pressure on the other team on the base paths. They did different things to move the ball around and force college kids to make baseball plays.

That is always going to be problematic.

And let me say this real quick before we go.

There might not be a more disappointing baseball team this year than LSU.

Oh, yeah.

Yep.

They are almost the definition of front runners.

Any adversity that hits, they completely cave and drop down.
